Enlighten Me
I am the light, like the stars at midnight.
I am the sun, that shines ever so bright.
I am light bulb that lightens any room.
I am a lotus in full bloom.
Do you know of a lotus? Full of mystery?
Birthed from water, mud, dirt.....
Has to first survive wildlife to bloom.
I'm that flower finally in full bloom.
Survived various forms of child abuse.
Poverty was the wild life for me.
But some how I stand so beautifully,
As life tried to break me..
A light began to shine through the cracks.
As I began to blossom and sprout.
God slowly whispered let your light out!!!
I am the light.
