Enjoy the Rollercoaster

Enjoy the rollercoaster

As the days roll by
They leave a trace
They teach each one
In this human race

To realise it's not
A race at all
It's a hellride for some
For others, a ball

We can hold on for dear life
We can grit our teeth real tight
We can dance and sway
We can appreciate the light

We can learn and grow
We can embrace the moments
We can hide or pray
We can live with hope

As the years roll by
They leave their mark
The truth is revealed 
Either bright or dark 

We realise it's us
That we have all the power
We can play it safe
Or enjoy the rollercoaster
