Enemies of the Sonnet Man- the Muse (Part Five)

This stayed on my mind without digression,
And sent me roaming down a lonely road,
Since she ruined my sense of direction,
Proving that she did not deserve an ode.
I thought that they would get a warm welcome
From a person who enjoyed a good rhyme,
Which made me grateful, because I seldom
Share my rhymes with anyone anytime.
From the truth about how she played her part,
There could never be a deviation,
Because the creative part of my heart
Had been left without appreciation.
So The Muse, who caused my words to take flight,
No longer compels this poet to write.
