Do I fly into another day without you? With wings of a luminescent swan, I swoop towards heavenly certainties Holding each verse your breaths create On our virgin parchment Do I dream another dream for serendipity’s touch? A touch against crevices’ misunderstanding Stroking forgiveness under lips of a luxurious whisper Where are your thoughts? Where are your memories of yesterday’s certainty? Do I ascend towards sacrifices’ downfall with weighted inhales? Hoping each moment our paired hands cross, Will not become downplayed uprisings My solaced smile urges for your tunnel vision. … Because new sunrise’s pertinent grin has yet to be unwrapped! Yet, they say tomorrows’ hidden asterisk Is not guaranteed But, this love, THIS LOVE, Is for today Unwrapped For you Endlessly ©Drake J. Eszes

Hi Drake, I don't know how I missed this one. Live one day at a time and wait for the sun to smile on you again. Love it. Still a while before sunrise here. I think I will take a break from poetry when it comes to sit on the porch with a cup of coffee and unwrap the new morning.

We are supposed to have a snow storm on Sunday, with many inches of new snow, but now I have a weapon...I just read this poem full of warmth and while I read it it will melt all the snow as it lands! Yes, this poem is so beautiful and full of warmth that my heart skips a beat every time I read it! I really enjoyed reading this amazing piece, Great Work!!

My father in law was in hospital suffeering angina(a kind of heart attack)..He s home now and returning in hospital on the 24th of March to be operated on the 26th of March for a triple bypass ..due to blockages in three arteries leading to the heart.We ve cancelled a holiday which We had booked for Uk on the sixth of March.We need to be there for him..Just appreciate your prayers..and yeah your poem is great.I loved it
