End of Winter

The wind blows through the lawn
Winter’s last howl is heard

Time to pull up the dead
Last year’s bountiful crop

Red potatoes ready
Awaiting spring rain fall

Checking on the weather
For planting time to start

Thank you very much. I appreciate not only the win, but the time you took to read all the poems and judge them, not an easy job :)
