Enchanted Earth - Constanza

I have known ethereal bliss. A crystal sea, serenity.... Imparts visions to memory. Endowed by heaven's cosmic kiss, A peaceful healing I can share With those who need my love and care. By star light from this great abyss Luna welcomes her night time sky. When full or new, emotions fly. How could I not be changed by this? She wields her power over me, Yet I am charmed, how can this be? The glory of this earth I'll miss. Though when I leave this realm one day Sparks from my life are sure to stay. I have known ethereal bliss. Endowed by heaven's cosmic kiss, By star light from this great abyss How could I not be changed by this? The glory of this earth I'll miss. 7-19-20 If this was my last poetry contest poetry contest Sponsor Silent One My last poem would have to be about this enchanted earth, the moon and stars, and it would have to be in my Constanza form.

wow, you used your own form and came up with something so pretty, Connie. Divine!! Will you use it for the Constanza contest too? I used an oldie from 2010 - All Fall. Do you remember ? I think it may have been my very first one.

I do remember it Andrea. I love that one. I have another I will use for his contest. I have never posted it before. Thank you Andrea. We are battening down the hatches preparing for the hurricane that may well become a tropical storm if it goes far enough north of us. It will arrive Sunday. xxoo

Your Constanza form is wonderfully creative, Connie, as is this entry into the contest. I hesitate to try it for a current Constanza contest, but I think I will and hope it does justice to your creative form.

Thank you very much Jenna. I know it is a bit of a challenge to create a poem in the Constanza form. If you start with creating your Monorhyme first it will be much easier to complete. Blessings xxoo

Hi Connie; lovely poetry. I think the earth will also miss you, wanting you back as soon as possible:) She is not so cold as to let such warmth just fade away. As her moon always keeps a light on. Great writing my friend!

I love the idea that her moon always keeps a light on! Thank you for such a lovely comment Joe. If we all took more the time to appreciate the earth we would have a more peaceful planet. Thank you very much my friend. Blessings xxoo

We do leave an imprint on Earth after we depart and your Reiki allows you to assume your role as healer, Connie. Surely, we will miss Earth's beauty, but I'm hopeful that heaven's glory will be wondrous. I love the spiritual quality of your poem and you use this form so well! Surely a winner in the contest. Hugs, Carolyn (fave)
