Keep thinking of the reunion and in a blink of an eye he will return.

As introspective as I am, I too, get that extremely lonely feeling, now and then. Thank God for modern technology and pictures so that being away from the people you love... is slightly less unbearable.

Yes, Timothy....I just Skyped with hubby a while ago and that really helped...but the best part which really is so vital to me is missing...the ability to touch. Still...we take what we can get Thanks for the visit.

Great title for the theme. The conflict of not having what you want at the moment , yet having everything is very heatfelt.

Thanks, Karen! :) I see you share my sentiments! I am grateful for all I have. Nobody is perfect, but imperfection is an opportunity for grace to flourish.

A sad tanka lol, now you gotta admit you asked for that lol. I know the feeling, works both ways, the travelling is nice but the loneliness does creep in. Very emotional tanka, well done. Take care, Richard

I did, didn't I? The loneliness drive me over the bend sometimes, Richard...but I'm sure to get a nice warm welcome when he comes home! ;) The welcome is so much sweeter after an absence.
