Empty Vessel

I was a little upset,
a bit sad today,
the love I  once felt
had faded away.
Gone was the passion,
Gone was the lust.
Blown away in the wind,
like specks of dust.
My emotions are stagnant,
neither here nor there.
My heart is empty,
I just don't care.
I am an empty vessel
on a silent sea.
Time to recover now
and find the real me.
