Empty Room
In empty room, where shadows softly creep,
Loneliness resides, as a quiet guest.
An empty nest, where memories now sleep,
Of love once known, it is now laid to rest.
A lover's touch, a fleeting, ghostly trace,
Whispers through the silent, in vacant air.
This room, a mirror of the heart's embrace,
Reflects the void, a sorrow hard to bear.
A candle's flame, so fragile, flickers low,
Extinguished by a whisper of the wind.
Yet in the dark, a seed of hope can grow,
A spark of light, where once despair had thinned.
For even in the depths of darkest night,
Hope blooms anew, and turns to morning light.
