Empty Feelings 4-28-99

I get empty feelings in my heart It pierces like a sharp dart. I get these feelings when I’m sad They seem to go away whenever I’m glad. I got these feelings when my boyfriend dumped me And when my crush told me he didn’t liked me. And when my friend call me as a friend I thought and knew this is the end. I’ll never forget the hug and the kiss And to hold his hand, I’ll have to miss. All these times I thought I knew I guess the secret just blew. In class when he smiles It makes my heart pound for miles. But now I know it’s a lie And it was a joke he’d knew I buy. These empty feelings don’t go away They stay here day after day. But he doesn’t like me nonetheless These empty feelings are loneliness.
