Empty

Do you ever feel empty?
Not sad, Not mad, Not...Anything...just
empty.
Like there is a black hole in your heart,
sucking away all the emotion?
You put on a mask, a smile, tired, bored.
you keep acting, not letting anything through the cracks.
Just when you cannot hold it in anymore
it explodes.
into rage, fear, endless dispair.
stealing your thoughts. Taking your mind.
To a place it cannot escape.
and then there is calm, leaving you there
empty.

I really love this beautiful poem. :) I felt this way a lot when I was younger, like I was hollow inside. I love the way you captured the feeling. Great write!
