Emptiness

There something missing in my life
An empty space yearning to be filled
Loneliness so deep
At times it seems unbearable
The need for love
Is growing stronger everyday
Seeing people in love
Makes the emptiness grow
Although the pain does not show
It is still there
Hiding behind my laughter
But I guess I have to take it
Swallow my feelings
And watch people in love
From the sidelines
