Empress
She had a squint, knocked knees and crooked teeth
But she had a heart of gold and we all loved her
Her teeth were crooked but her ways were straight
Her heart was pure and we all counted on her
She indulged in no self-pity and loathed niceness
Of the fake variety, fake piety
Which she mistook for nothing but the condenscencion
That it was
She had a squint but she saw straight through idiocy
Dressed up as compassion, liked some trend or fashion
For this she had little passion
Her teeth were crooked, her knees knocked together
But she kept on the straight and narrow path to success
Proof that, in spite of it all, she could achieve anything
And walk tall and proud, like an Empress
