Emotionally Naked

There's a special place
        a private sanctuary
          haven just for us
where I know your every thought
     and you know all of mine

           We keep no secrets
  thoughts laid bare to each other
          hearts beat together
we share pulse and breath - we are 
           emotionally naked

Look deep inside yourself until you find a place where you feel at peace. When I wrote this I was at peace with my husband. I've had to readjust my mind and heart to find a new place where I'm honest with myself. It's not easy, but well worth the trip. Thank you, as always for your sweet comments.
