Emotional Roulette
Twirling around
An endlessly spinning wheel
A life-long game
A never-ending gamble
Is trust enough?
Do I throw in more?
Have I put in enough?
One small white ball
One cold silver bullet
Where will it stop?
Is it red?
Or black?
Will our love surpass this obstacle?
When is it enough?
An endless obsession
To gamble away our love
There’s always that risk
Pull the trigger
See what the outcome is
Love and live
Or chose to die
Is it your turn?
Or do you risk the shot?
The one chance of loss
Blowing your heart out
Straight out of your chest
This is the game we play
When we fall in love
The never-ending
Emotional Roulette
