Emergency Evacuations

It's great when you have someone to confide in She's the one I'll always call on when the stakes get high but lately things have been rocky like a boat in a tornado The person I used to know is changing right under my noes Were so close that people should call us Siamese's twins where ever one of us goes the other follows But lately our friendship has been sinking I guess maybe too much time together can cause internal bleeding I never would would have thought I'd get annoyed without her even speaking It's like I'm physic all of a sudden and I can read her mind There is nothing new and no more surprises and sometimes I feel like our friendship is at it's demise Maybe all we need is some chill pill time A vacation away from each other so that we can both unwind Because lately I've found myself getting a little explosive A few choice words that I say intentionally so that they'll hurt yet it makes me feel worse to see the daggers reach their destination I didn't really mean to cause all of this devastation All it ever seems like we do anymore is argue Our differences never used to amount to this much weight before Or maybe than we didn't care We were such carefree teenagers than I'm not saying that were getting old or anything But the heavy load of the world is starting to lean on my shin But I would never give in on this friendship I just think I need some time away from you So I can soak up some of life's juices without you handing me a tissue
