Emerald Green

A flicker, a spark The all too familiar fear of feelings I see you as an apple orchard in bloom The honeybees harvesting their bounty And I hear your name I think about Romeo and Juliet Not that you would cause a catastrophe More of my heart already planned our wedding What flowers to plant in our garden How wonderful you would look in green Emerald green
