Lin, a pleasure to look at this and contemplate what's happening in the swamp. Those who call for draining the swamp really don't know what they are talking about! A swamp is not always a bad thing, and it can offer a degree of protection against orange predators.

lol orange predators. He wanted to drain the swamp to 'make America great again.' He's now drowning America in what used to be a beautiful place. And still people believe he's good for our country... how?

Nice one, Lin. Whenever I hear ducks quacking away, I almost always say, “It wasn’t THAT funny!”. Enjoyed this quacking - oops, I mean ‘cracking’ - haiku. Terry

Dear lin this is such a beautiful haiku! And im impressed by your painting! So good! I do paint too but just an amateur one. The details in your art is so beautiful and so dreamy! Can see the chilly winter morn. How long did it take for you to paint this? You are so talented! I agree with debx. Sending you light always

Hi Ink and thanks a lot for such kind compliments on my painting. It's difficult to say how long it took because it's a start and stop process... you know like watching paint dry. lol Acrylics dry quickly but sometimes I let it sit on the easel and then look at it and think... a little darker here, a little less shadow there. you know since you paint. I only dabble at it. My daughter is a painter.

Brilliant is a word I'd take issue with, Deb, but thank you for liking them. I can walk and chew bubble gum at the same time. lol I've sold a few. This one was supposed to be part of a series of three swamp scenes, but I couldn't part with it and had to paint another.
