Embraced By the Unseen

Embraced by the Unseen There is a sound in the distance getting closer Upon the breeze floats a feminine fragrance A touch of spices and jasmine wrapped in lavender Engulfed the air with a hypnotic awakening Providing an energy that made me feel giddy Turning my mind back towards my first love Butterflies in my tummy as elation peaked Standing alone yet feeling like I was romanced Soft kisses of dew fell upon my cheeks Scenting my hair, as slender fingers run Through it, provided by the suns golden touch Held in a gentle embrace by an unseen force Twirling in circles dancing to its heartbeat Enamored by its pulsating energy and freedom Wondering, what have I encountered to produce? This childhood gaiety so sweet to the taste A hand from within the breeze cups my face Whispers rise from inside the wind to my ears It is I the earth’s Mother romancing your heart Revealing my reflection for you to impart The three words to give them Alive in every beat of my Feminine heart Are “Embrace My Beauty” Carole Cookie Arnold
