Embrace
Past permanently in pen
Eternally etched in every
Thread throughout time
Can be tempting to toss
Almost all of it away to
Erase any trace of history
Reflecting reminds us that
We all walked our own path
Twisting our way to today
Don’t dismiss our detours
Lean into them to leverage
The foundation they formed
