Embers of Time
We have been granted our life for a purpose
Whether we have discovered it yet, or not
There is a reason for this time we are given
That gives life meaning when we are forgot
Some of us will rise to the challenge
And succeed in reaching our goal
Others will simply waste away
As a lost and forgotten soul
Once you understand your life’s purpose
And set it firmly in your mind
Your life would have been lived for something
That glows brightly in the embers of time
