Elves, Who Speak of Eternity
after the
lights dim in Middle Earth
elvish singing
begins
Calling upon the
name of Elbereth
the immortal's
lilting melodies
delight all who hear them
Around burning campfires
they sing
and their words
break through the
shadows
tales of forgotten
worlds
tales from gentle and
dissonant voices
the golden race
must leave Middle - Earth
soon their songs will be only
whispers on the
wind (first published in Beyond Bree(July 2008)
