Elora
Tis not a contemporary
artist that can capture your integral purity-
Perhaps da Vinci may have done you justice,
yet with his corpulent and stern pieces,
He never would have seized your true essence.
Your skin opulent and pale,
Immaculate without fail-
Spirited, flaming hair-
Giving an unrivaled flare.
Tis not your beauty an artist must conquer.
But the luminosity emanating from within.
Can this ever be done?
By the greatest of painters or men?
A. Green
Written for my daughter, Elora.
Whose inside, and outside beauty
is unmatched in all eternity.
