I've never seen elephant ear plants! They are marvelous in their appearance, especially with the frost on them...that makes them extra special! Do they survive through the winter? I loved how you wrote this one, with the juxtaposition bringing in the frost upon the curled leaves! I really enjoyed this delightful piece this morning! What a fabulous piece, Great Work!!

Russell, I wasn't sure about this one that is if there would be enough of a difference to be a juxtaposition...I have had these plants in my yard for maybe 18 years but we haven't had the really lingering cold that we have had in the past..They have a very large bulb type root which puts out new each spring but that bulb could get killed if it turned cold and stayed cold for several days or longer..Thanks for the visits to my page..Sara
