Elephant
Elephants,
Have an amazing ability to survive,
Strength! Like other animal,
Confidently! Aware of their power,
Bound by blood to protect,
Females traveling together,
Mothers, sisters, aunts, grandmother,
A deep sense of community,
Knowing danger before hand,
A very spiritual creature,
Meditation gives them ability to project.
Their thoughts go beyond dream-worlds,
Creating a manifestion of reality,
They journey long distancies,
Intelligence that remembers,
Knowing the best grazing lands
For their grass and leaves
And water holes,
Wisdom to think things through,
Communicating telepathically,
Ability to precieve danger beforehand,
Having emotions comparable to humans,
Love, joy, jealousy, rage,
Their young depend until adult,
Showing happiness when calfs are born,
Loyalty and affection,
Risking their lives for another,
Grieve and shed tears,
Morn their loss.
If mistreated they will remember,
And want revenge.
Walk silently and noiseless,
Graceful and rhythmic strides,
With keen smell, taste and touch,
They rumble their feet,
Sound waves travel and transmit,
With other herd members,
We can learn from them,
If we open our hearts and minds,
Allow ourselves to love one another,
Understanding others can deepen
To a level that transends our speech.
Creating strong relationships,
With family and friends.
