Listen to poem:

Electricity

The smell of earth,
Of dust before rain,
Sky darkening, lightning flashing,
Thunder ominous in distance.
Brown arms enfold me in your odor --
Warm, slightly sweaty.
Strong hands, firm, soft lips
Leave me breathless --
And eyes -- your eyes --
Spear and stop my heart.
