Electric Fusion
Twilight-
the sky's blood orange
and I'm getting clean, phone's buzzing
with plans and inspirations. Dirty minds-
me too.
Great ones might think alike,
but the time's ripe to stop aiming
for abstractions..
Just do.
I'm out the door first chance,
devil in hand, electric air.
Hurry up electric locks,
I'm panting through my red red lips...
fast and faster.. singular thoughts,
mind glued
to electric fusions
of casuality and lust. (Indifferent desperation)
Trust in the generosity of mother earth,
and all her good vibrations.
You can hear it too.
Let's do it, fall back together
from pieces of nothing. Let's disentangle
our knotted selves,
shake away bits of everyone else,
and do ourselves better with something strange,
something new.
Feel the summer night alive
and open-ended, without wanting clues.
It could go nowhere, but I can live
without climax while the music absorbs me-
moth to the flame,
god of the youth.
And I'll forgive your lack of attempting grace,
if you'll forgive my certain indiscretions.
Lower your expectations just right-
right there I'll make love
to your imperfection.
Relax, we can take turns
being criminals.
In that, we're all accomplished...
Within our specialties, special.
Free, if we acknowledge
the electric nature of ourselves.
Happy, because we can do nothing else.
Happy, because we wouldn't want to.
