Eight Seconds of Eternity

Beneath that baffling moonlight, I covered your body with my loving arms. Then we looked up, and watched the fireworks as they lit the sky- that gave vivid colors to our gloomy night. Gently, you leaned on me. I felt your soul hardly breathing. You became still- not merely moving, with your eyes closed, peacefully; then you whispered, “I will love you, forever…” The sun began to rise; created a romantic scene. How nice it was for the two of us, but sadly, it was only me who saw that moment of eternity…
