Egret twirls graceful neck
Exotic its coiled form…
Each winged movement, a glide
Endowed by nature’s art
Embodying beauty!

Oh Nette, I am sure this will be a top pick. We have many Egrets here all over. They look so majestic in-flight. They adore hunting on fresh mown grasses. Lovely! : ) 7

a graceful poem as is the bird of which you speak, a couple times a week several egrets walk casually through my yard clearing it of insects they find, mostly white every once in awhile a darker egret appears..good luck dear poet
