I did coloring easter eggs in the 1980ies bach in Papua New Guinea, but did not do any more. Still have some from that time. Very nice Acrostic you're presenting here! Keep your pen flowing...Gert

i miss coloring the eggs for easter, all of my kids are grown up, and my son and his wife do it for my grand daughter Erika, and by the way thank you for reading the poem about her and for the comment.

Sara, this reminds me of the approach I also took with that contest, mentioning the commercial "candy" part and then getting to the real meaning of Easter. Good luck with your truthful poem! LUv, Andrea
