Notes About The Poem

Eggs

Why do some eggs crack easily?
Their yolks sitting nicely
Other eggs shatter
Their yolks splatter

Perfect eggs are best fried
The others should be scrambled
If in doubt, boiling could be tried
Three minute timer - soft boiled

In nature, cock and hen have mated
Inside the egg a chick is created
The hen lays her egg to brood
The chick is born: the egg wasn't food

Great poem - so if we don't eat the egg we sooner or later eat the chicken? :)

The moral of the poem: "One of the the real functions of an egg is to provide food for the unborn chick. We shouldn't eat that birth capsule!"

Now your poem has awakened my red dragon. Why were we given consciences.
