Eerie Sight

Coach Alan Brown was incredibly unique
At eighty he had an athlete's physique.
A fullback mocked his years,
Brown hefted him by his ears.
Since then mouthy jocks have squelched every squeak.

Very nice one my friend. I can not recall ever writing a limerick myself but I admire those that do them so well.

You're very kind, Robert. Thank you. I think, however, that your always-excellent, traditional poetry more than makes up for my flailing attempts to write limericks.

Can you imagine the upper body strength Coach Brown had? It boggles the mind (just as my mind was boggled when I wrote the thing). * * * Thanks for stopping by, Jan.
