Eden

I live in a box
Not a fancy one at that
Just a box
My box is pitch dark
There is no light in here
I live in a cold box
Not a frosty box either
Just a cold box
I cannot find the walls of my box
Only see them there in the darkness
Just beyond my reach
My box is without window
My box is without door
And the lid is too high to reach
I live in a box
There is no escape
For my box is just . . .
My box is my life
My prison
Box
