Eclipse of the Moon
The moon aligns with the darkness
Feelings of dread conquers all
However, the Earth covers the light
Now the darkness is ever constant
Clouds cover what’s left of the edges
Each pleasant thought now gone
The amazing realization comes true
The morning is farther than it seemed
You hope that it is all a dream
That the moon has disappeared from view
Not only has the night gone darker
The evening has been filled with gloom
Everything you dreaded seems to come out
The truth has become a reality
But as soon as you have come accustomed
The light has beamed back stronger
Seemingly to melt the clouds away
The moon dominates the cool sky
Lovingly hung where the world is high
The moon spreads its powers to all tonight
