Echoes - Contest
In the labrynth* lost in itself amongst the spirits of days past
Hide the memories of echoes amassed ,
in the maze of today, where thoughts are dashed.
Echoes of life, love and dreams lost forever or so it seemed.
yet not lost, just hidden to jump out when
the tears fall as you write your next poem.
Your muse steps back allowing you to be free
to look for the echoes that you shared with me.
I searched the vaults to find out where they hide
nothing did I find of my memories i had tossed aside,
found instead the lyrics of a well known song
Pink Floyd recorded it, called Echoes, read the lyrics well
memories of what was, is his story to tell.
