Echo

ECHO

I hear an echo,
A sound so close
And yet so far.
It comes from
Everywhere and yet
It is nowhere.
Maybe I’m imagining
It in my warped
And twisted head.
Maybe I cease to be
And I become just
A sound, one so remote
I’m a million miles away.
