Easter Lessons 7
In football, one hour;
But occasionally, overtime.
In basketball, 48 minutes;
But occasionally, overtime.
In baseball, nine innings;
But occasionally, extra innings.
On Calvary's cross;
3rd hour; crucified.
6th hour; area-wide darkness.
9th hour; last cry and death.
No overtime; No extra innings;
On Calvary's cross;
It was finished.
Nothing went undone;
Nothing was left to be done.
Completeness embraces me.
