Easter

“Easter is the holiest of the liturgical celebrations;
It is a time of farewells and renewal “ ~the poet

                    The body and blood of Christ is given up for you and me
                           He was crucified on a cross to set us free

                             Condemnation and sins washed away
                             By the faith we share in him each day

                               As mortals we try not to falter
                          Confessing our iniquities at the altar

                      Easter reminds us of our special grace
                       The Lord our savior took our place

           Our souls washed clean of the impurities of Earthly life,
                         Heavenly glory, will be ours with rife.

FOX is carrying the movie, The Passion, this Sunday. I don’t have any info on who made it. I miss Easter from years ago. I mean the family. Most of them are with the Lord. What fun it was to dress to the nines. And that gorgeous Church filled with liies. We stil had Mass in Atin and GregorieaN Chant. Felt like being in heaven! Pangie

Yes, I remember those lavish Easters too; I loved the Alleluia ~ I sang in the church choir ~ the glory resonates over and over within me. Happy Easter my friend! Blessings,Paulette

This piembechoes the best of Helen Steiner Rice. Of course this had one great plus: give Jesus the mention & full credit. World prefers generic god

Not sure what piembechoes means but comparing me to Helen Steiner Rice is a grand compliment. Glad you enjoyed the depth of my poem. Happy Easter, Paulette
