Earth's End

When it's time for the end
We await the one to send

Everything must slowly die
Even if we wonder why

Innocence was assuredly lost
But we never imagined the cost

A generation cast
Before the first nuclear blast

A future full of sorrow
It slowly becomes tomorrow

Ignorance bred hate
That sealed our fate

Silly secular reasons
Damned our natural seasons

Endless pursuit of cash
History's greatest rehash

It really didn't have to be this way
Time is running out for us to stay

Before the clock strikes midnight
We must rise up and fight

United we have the greatest power
To prevent Earth's darkest hour

We await the one to send
When it's time for the end
