*Science has established, beyond doubt, that the window for climate action is closing rapidly. Thus from the 6th of November 2022, world leaders are meeting in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, for two weeks of climate negotiations to cut carbon emissions so that our planet is saved. This Haiku is my tiny contribution.

The biggest problem is the leaders of our planet don't seem to agree on anything. If everyone but China agrees, the outcome doesn't change. IMHO. Thanks for sharing, Demetrious. Bill

Another moving piece, my friend. There are far too many meetings held each year, but they are all for show. If everyone does not jump on board, the future of the planet is dismal.

I thank you very much for caring, dearest Lasaad! If the world continues like that soon the situation would be irreversible. The first time I wrote a long poem on Climate change was back in 1985. It was called prophetic, now I see why! God bless you for your kind words! Be blessed!

There is a lot of talk but it needs to be followed by action, and by all nations, if everyone is not on board then earth has a bleak future. Tom

I cannot conceive the indifference people show toward the climate change we face. I posted three poems on FB and there was no response. My poems on other topics get a very warm reception but not Climate Change! It is a pity for we are going to suffer because of that. Thank you for caring, my dearest, Tom. God bless you!
