Earthquake
Those were moments indeed very opaque
In my office room beside the green lake
Although I felt an uneasy headache
Yet I was engaged at the leave or take
With a flood of words like ladder and snake
For the funny monorhyme contest’s sake
It was then that arrived the ghostly shake
On the chair of mine of fibre glass make
My boss yelled, “What are you doing, please wake
We are into a terrible earthquake”
Quickly I ran out in a speed breakneck
Grudgingly ignoring the coffee break
