Earl and Pearl Part 1
Once there was a girl called Pearl
Who loved a fellar called Earl
Earl vowed his love would be forever
And they would always be together
Miss Pearl she was crazy for him
But Earls love started to dim
He told Pearl he was movin on
Pearl loaded her gun, Earl was gone
But soon Pearl fell in love you see
With a boy called Jimmy Lee
But Earl, he haunts Pearls place
And in the dark she see's his face
Earl vowed he would not set her free
While they slept he killed her Jimmy Lee
Pearls broken heart could take no more
Earl heard the shot as Pearl hit the floor
Folks say he still calls out her name
A sad sorrowful cry, filled with pain
Now Earl is doomed to roam alone
In a dark dark place far from home
