Each Morning's a Bird

Each morning’s a bird who sings her own song Wakes before sunrise serenading the dawn Hours hopping along o’er dew-drop-dyed lawns… 'fore nestling into the sunset ~ all evening long

Great concept - and approach to life I'd say, "each morning is a new bird"!

There you go, David -- 'a new bird.' I like that. 'Course that's why I have that giant plastic flamingo from the 1960's in my front yard --- You meant 'nude bird,' didn't you? lol. Keep smiling, gw

ohhhhh - talking about breathless! I've grown so used to your talented ways with humor that I wasn't prepared to be awed like this. This is a poem that lingers with the reader. I thank you for that. Love, CayCay

I have to give my funny bone a break from time to time and act like an actual poet, CayCay. Thanks for the appreciation on this one. Excelsior!

Me, too. Birds singing much preferred to 'Sing-Sing' or even 'The Birdman from Alcatraz.' ~ Bird Lann Kaster
