E3
Said the capital E to the number 3, “We’re the same except you’re turned around,”
Said the number 3 to capital E, “That’s because I represent math instead of a sound.”
“Oh I do that too,” said the capital E, “like in the equation E=MC squared,”
This was a revelation that left the number 3 seemingly quite unprepared.
“On license plates my brothers are used as words though seldom it seems am I,”
“Keep thinking about it,” said the capital E, “go on give it one more tri.”
3 said that he could help to say “2 3pair” on the plates of a dentist’s car,
“In a case such as that,” said the capital E, “I’d say that you’re the star.”
“It’s very clever, I really must say, how you became parts of repair and tooth,
So you advertise for the dental profession while I explain universal truth.”
Capital E felt that in this debate he had captured the higher ground,
Now the number 3 would have to concede that E was more that just a sound
“I can think of one more,” said 3, “but to read it you’re going need a mirror,
And when you do I think you’ll understand my position so much clearer.”
Because so far all you’ve said is that you think you’re beter than me,
But I can still have the last laugh on you so I’ll just say 33H 33T.
