Dying To Self

Redeemed by God to own eternal life Forgiven, my soul is now heaven-bound To soar for faith venture on higher ground As new creature freed from hell-chained strife. Subduing flesh, championing sublime will My quickened spirit takes up cross with grace Surmounting temptations by Scriptures’ brace I strive toward triumphant service-hill.
