Dust, Behind

Feeling the anger, rage from within
Just a feeling, passing by slowly
Why do we hang onto anger?
It just blows with the wind
Into the distance unknown
Why not in an instant forget?
Like a shooting star passing
Only to vanish
To not put a crater into the earth
And leave not but a scar in the soft ground
Why let it cling to you?
Break free from the hands
The hands that hold you to revenge
You owe not a thing to anger
It has done nothing but cause pain, sorrow
Just let it go
Leave it in the dust behind you
Buried, under your feet
