Duo Manifesto Pt.1

Then Jesus said unto him, put up thy sword into his place;
for all that take the sword shall perish with the sword.
Matt. 26:52

Ask and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find;
knock, and it shall be opened unto you; for every one that
asketh, receiveth; and he that seeketh, findth; and to him
that knocketh, it shall be opened.
Matt 7: 7,8

And he sayeth unto them, follow me and I shall make you
fishers of men.
Matt. 4:19

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or prophets;
I am come not to destroy, but to fulfill.
Matt.5:17

Not every one that sayeth unto me Lord,Lord shall enter
into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of
my Father which is in heaven.
Matt. 7:21

I come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth,
in me should not abide in darkness.
John 12:46

Jesus wept.
John 11:35

bip,bip,bip,bip,bip,bip,bip,bip,
Where am I ? " You are with me, and I you"
Are you God? " I am many things to many people"
Am I dead? " No my Son you are not"

bip,bip,bip,bip,bip,bip,
What is that sound? " That is the beating of your heart,
our heart" What is this place, Father? " A place where we can
talk without interruption, you have questions"

bip,bip,bip,bip,
Who am I, Father? Have I done all that I am to do?
Are you real? Am I dreaming? Why am I here?
" Your last question, only you can answer"

God's loving nature is conveyed well through the verses you cite, Richard. The last three stanzas of your poem are compelling, so I must read part 2! Love, Carolyn
