Notes About The Poem

Dull Enthusiasm

Refined on blazes
of judgments
haphazard
yesterday's zest
is a fortress
of embers

memorials burn
surrendering souls
into the fumes
plaguing your
emotions the
cinders awoke

allow the zeal
of the darkness
nudge you
to view
the yesteryear is near
a dimness &
not what
will last
