Ducks
Ducks in a pond among fronds about.
Throwing pieces of bread, children shout.
Swimming happy in stream, ducks are fed.
Gleaming in afternoon sun, Mallards and
Browns are around for fun from kids' hand.
It's a sight to see smiling faces, in
Such places as this, we visit so often.
Being small, they've probably forgotten.
Now I go to a larger pond in new state.
Swans, so pretty and many ducks do feed
On bread thrown in. It's a sight to see.
