Dual Life

You live within me, my adorable
It’s due to you I'm here today
Though naked truth stands inexorable
I miss you in the usual way
We’re immaterial together
But even so, we do exist
It is a dual life I gather
So in this sense you’re never missed
The truth of our souls adherence
Brings life to memories we hold
Revitalized in our appearance
Released from time, we can't grow old
Brush back your hair, put on the lamp
And kiss the air before the screen
My image there is getting damp
Before we fall into unseen..
